About CTS-40CP Steel: The CTS-40CP is a modern version of traditional ingot melted 440C stainless steel produced using the PM (powdered metals) process which leads to a finer grain structure, more uniform distribution of carbides, etc. Where CTS-40CP shines compared to the other premium stainless steels (S30V, CTS-XHP, etc) is that it has a high chromium content and therefore has better corrosion resistance.
